Not a bad sequel
Same movie revolving aorund the same three moms (Kunis,Khan and Bell) but this time it's Christmas time and there has to be a twist and what better than there moms coming of the big holiday. Needless to say the moms show up early and they need a let loose scene which this time takes place in the mall at the height of Christmas shopping. Each daughter has certain types of problems with their mother in their own way and that is the basis of this movie. The first one was fun and original while this copies that same frame but, adds in enough fun and excitement that makes it at least a one time watch.

Enjoyable Movie
I'm not usually a fan of remakes, but this one was pretty good. I enjoyed see old characters that I know and love drawn in a modern style. The visuals in this movie were great. It made me wish I could step into the movie, and celebrate Christmas with them.
Despite the visuals this is never going to be my favorite version. It lacks a lot of the charm the original cartoon has, and the Grinch in the new version isn't as good as the one from the live action movie. Overall I think the biggest thing hurting this film is that it had way to much to live up to.

A staple Christmas movie and the best adaptation there is, the remake was unnecessary and was very messy.
It's a wonderfully story and contains some great musical numbers and Gene Wilder was nothing short of amazing bringing the titular character to life.
Not sure if it will ever be bettered, I dont think they should try..classic!

U can't stop the beat
Watched this week wouldn't normally watch musicals but as its Christmas I thought why not there's plenty of good songs including my favourite u can't stop the beat its one of those songs u just get out of you're head what can I say about this movie that's bad nothing at all

A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas is the third movie in the Harold and Kumar series. This movie takes place six years after the events of Escape from Guantanamo Bay. Harold Lee (John Cho) and Kumar Patel (Kal Penn) have fallen out of touch since Harold got married, got a job on Wall Street and moved to the suburbs. Kumar is still smoking tons of weed. Harold on the other hand has stopped smoking weed and is desperately trying to find a way to impress his father in-law, Mr. Perez, played by Danny Trejo. Mr. Perez is obsessed with Christmas. Every year his family uses a Christmas tree that he has grown. This year he brought his home grown tree to Harold’s house for Christmas. In an attempt to win Mr. Perez over, Harold encourages Mr. Perez to take the family to midnight mass while Harold decorates the tree while they are gone.
Kumar is still living in the same apartment that he shared with Harold. He has let the place go a bit while he has been living on his own. His ex-girlfriend shows up to tell him she is pregnant, but since Kumar is high he doesn’t act very mature about it. Later, as Kumar is getting ready to go to a party with his new friend, he finds a mysterious package at his door addressed to Harold. Kumar decides to take it by Harold’s house on his way to the party. When he gets there Harold and Kumar catch up a little bit over some egg nog. Harold opens the package and discovers it is a giant joint, which Kumar proceeds to light it up. Harold gets upset and throws the joint out of the window. It then magically comes back inside and burns down the tree. Of course this freaks Harold out and a desperate search for a new tree begins
This is the beginning of a hysterical journey . This roller coaster ride is filled with drugs, sex, gangsters and even more drugs. Of course Neil Patrick Harris comes back to be his crude self. This movie has a lot of good Christmas moments, but it is only for a mature audience. Fans of the first two Harold and Kumar movies will love the third installment. A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas is a non stop laugh fest. The 3D in this movie was surprisingly good. Movie goers will be impressed by the two different kinds of snow and the weed smoke going out over the audience. A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas is bound to become a Christmas classic that you will want to watch every year.

A disappointing sequel
I always start my reviews of movie comedies by complaining how most of them just aren't that funny. Usually having a raucous trailer which combines every single one of the movies mildly funny moments into two or three minutes of high energy in an attempt to con you into buying a ticket. And I usually make a comparison to Bad Moms when I'm complaining about them too, probably the funniest comedy I've seen in a couple of years now. My enjoyment of Bad Moms was probably helped by the fact that I was watching it while say next to a busy, overworked mom in the shape of my wife, but it was still very enjoyable all the same. A lot of other people must have thought so too, as they managed to quickly rush out this inferior sequel in order to cash in.
Bad Moms Christmas kicks off on Christmas day, with Amy (Mila Kunis) sitting on the stairs of her home, Christmas tree toppled over, and other Christmas mess all around her. She looks beat, and a real life camel calmly walks past her. This must have been some big crazy party that we're going to rewind and watch unfold in full horrific detail. Spoiler: we do get to see the party, and it's definitely not crazy.
We do go back a few days though and the movie starts counting down each day in the run up to Christmas. All the original cast are back, but this time, in an attempt to double up on the number of Bad Moms (it's a sequel after all), all the moms of our three leads show up to make their lives that much worse. With another upcoming sequel, Daddys Home 2, set to do exactly the same thing, this must just be the thing these days.
With the older moms looking to dictate and ruin the holiday season, their daughters vow to take back Christmas. Unfortunately though, this just involves a bit of drunken bad behaviour in a shopping mall and some grinding/gyrating around an elderly Santa Claus. All a bit disappointing really.
While it's heart is in the right place and everyone is friends again by the time the end of the movie and Christmas day dinner rolls round, overall this is a much less enjoyable movie than the first. While there are some funny moments, the laugh rate is way, way down on the last movie too and a rethink of further 'holiday moms' planned movies is seriously needed.

One of my all time favourite Christmas movies. Traditionally watched over the festive period.
The story follows a human who as a baby crawls into Santa's sack and ends up at the North Pole. He (Buddy) grows up with the elves but struggles with the elf jobs due to his size.
Buddy goes on a mission to find his Dad, who doesn't believe this strange man to be his son. Everyone falls in love with Buddy except his Dad, who struggles to accept him or believe his story of the North Pole and Santa, that's until Christmas Eve arrives and Santa is in trouble. Cue Buddy's new found friends to save Christmas.
A full on feel good festive movie, that will become a firm favourite in any household.
