Well produced but still completely missing a lot
It's pretty incredible to create a series about the effects of mass porn without mentioning how it actually affects the women in it and around it. Once again we have a very male take on women as a mass commodity, narrowing them down to keywords instead focusing on how the men who make it and are responsible for the consumerism are affected. I thought Jon Ronson would explore this issue, but he skirts around it as an aside. Not his best by far.

a real treat for the eyes and ears, with an incredible soundtrack
intriguing with a continued exploration of identity and ethics

Awesome Movie
This movie I had high hopes for and it did not disappoint. The acting was superb, nobody overacted or tried to steal the show. Gal Gadot was a perfect casting choice for Wonder Woman.
There was action, comedy and a little bit of romance. It balanced out quite well in this movie. I have watched it three times and each time I come out with something new from it. I hope the other movies in the franchise are just as good.

Shaun Collins (3 KP) rated Make Love! the Bruce Campbell Way in Books
Jan 12, 2018
A genuinely funny and fun romp with B movie King Bruce "Don't call me Ash" Campbell that steps inside the Hollywood machine, and then smashes it with a hammer. Is it true? All of it, except for the parts that aren't. Or so claims the cover.
Listened to the unabridged audio book, which plays out more like a Big Finish audio drama, with sound effects etc... Bruce is in fine vocal form, and fans will get a least a small kick from the name drops of various projects he's been associated with.

Great Sequel
Aliens, being the long standing sequel set 57 years later certainly gets the action going right away. Sigourney Weaver plays the character fantastic and James Cameron directs the film in his frenetic style. Love the mechs! The acting for the supporting cast isn't stellar but for science fiction it's workable. Clearly one of my more favorite movies. The score by James Horner was composed quickly but effectively. This gives us one of the best action cues of all time.

You can't really go wrong with Tom Hanks - has that man ever made a bad film? Sully is no exception either. I knew little about the aftermath of the crash or the reason for it, so I was grateful the film covered this. It has a brilliant lead in Tom Hanks with a great supporting cast too. The effects are very good and overall this is a very interesting and enthralling film. My only issue would be that the story has been dragged out longer than it should've been with a few potentially unnecessary scenes.

Mad Max in Space
A very decent Sci/Fi, thriller effort.....first time I can say that in a long time! A very good atmospheric film with plenty of action. Starts well the middle is patchy, but it picks up again towards the end. Good effects and set design, the overall feel of the film and the spaceship is quite creepy, good use of lighting etc. It's not the most original, it feels like a compilation of ideas from the best known Sci/Fi films. Overall a good effort that most should enjoy.

Good story line (1 more)
Pretty decent visual effects for a 1998 movie
A little slow to start (1 more)
A bit too long
How have I never seen this before?
Honestly I was shocked I haven't ever seen this movie. It was actually pretty good! For me it took a while to really get into it, it was quite slow going until they got to the crew going into orbit, after that it snowballed into quite a nail biter. A good story line, although it was very long. Would I watch it again? Maybe.
A fun way to spend 2 hours.
Overall it’s a solid horror film. Not a game changer in the artistic sense, but it’s high box office grosses will open the door for more big-budget R-rated horror, so for that alone it get so a six. Extra point for never losing my attention. I had a good time overall. Not blown away, but not disappointed. Exactly what I expected.

A clever Story
This is another of the horror films to come out of Indonesia and its worth a watch. I thought that the story was clever and the characters believable. The suspense was there throughout and once again like most of these filme there were some clever plot twists. If you like your horror that is not all hollywood glitz and glamour then you will enjoy this. Quite gory in places and graphic too. I thought it was worth watching and rating :)
