Fantastic Character interplay. Come for the 6th Doctor and Iris, and stay for the convoluted plot that has some truly great ideas (like the transcendental, transdimensional engineering of a TARDIS) that are meant to be epic reveals thrown at you like lazy softballs... they come in so frustratingly slowly and obviously that by the time they land, you cant be bothered to swing at them. So maddening. For more, visit www.travelingthevortex.com

OMG... I just can't. This book was epic. I love how much the story gripped me and wouldn't let go. It was a great sequel to the first. You learned more about the characters you already loved and it makes you love them more. I can't wait to read the next one. The world created in this book is amazing. It's definitely in my top 10 series to read.

Dean (6927 KP) rated Wyatt Earp (1994) in Movies

An epic western charting the life of Wyatt Earp. Very long at over 3 hours and the first hour is a bit slow. It has a good cast and production and finally the action towards the end is pretty good. However if you have seen Tombstone the ending is very similar but I felt that was a slightly better movie. If you're not keen on westerns go for Tombstone instead.

Emotional!

I binge watched the tv series and thought it was epic. Really hits you in the feels.
So, naturally I had to read the book as well and compare the two. They’re both amazing, as always the books better but that’s just my opinion.
The story about the tapes and what happened in the run up to the girls suicide really being up a variety of emotions.

Jeremy King (346 KP) rated A Bug's Life (1998) in Movies
Jun 17, 2019
A Bug’s Life, is loosely based on Kurosawa’s masterpiece, Seven Samurai. Watched side by side, the similarities between a Japanese revenge tale and a children’s classic are striking.
Kurosawa’s epic tells the story of starved Japanese villagers who hire seven unemployed Samurais to help them fight against bandits who continuously raid their town. Ya that sounds like the Plot to A Bugs Life.
DONT GET ME WRONG I LOVE BOTH MOVIES.

Characters are fun to watch (1 more)
So much going on
Epic teen show
Riverdale is a brilliant teen fantasy that every teen probably wishes they were a part of.
The characters: though not relatable and very cliche, it lets you get away from the real world and have fun renewing the years of reading the comic books with many twists.

The concluding book in the epic Dark Tower series.
I never used to be a reader... And then I picked up The Gunslinger.
This completion did not disappoint and I have picked the series up again and again... And will continue to do so.
