Sci-Fi done right
I have loved this genre in books for so long it is great to see a tv show taking the technology we have today and advancing it to the point where morals and ethics become muddy, confusing, and concerning.

"Probably the best example of Murphy’s Law, Voltaire is an iconic writer from the era of Enlightenment, whose work speaks to the shifting of morals, ethics and policies during the 18th century. A wonderful complementary reading to my AP European History class."

"For me this is as every bit as important a guide in terms of personal moral ethics as Plato’s work is. Another side of the same coin. The timeless lessons that can be had from Plato and Lao Tzu reinforce each other in many ways."

I received this book from St. Martin's Press as an Advanced Reader's Copy. This book will be published on January 9, 2019 and I highly recommend you pick it up. The story centers around Jessica, a makeup artist in NYC. She stumbles into a "study" about morality and ethics where she becomes embroiled in a twisted relationship.

The beginning starts off quite exciting and uncovering topics such as ethics and morality which I found to be the most interesting and intriguing parts of the book. (0 more)
Not terrible but once you know the real reason for the study by Dr Shields, I felt there could have been another plot twist or two. (0 more)

Emotive and challenging
I had to take a few days breather before writing a review for this book. It is an truly emotive read, challenging your personal ethics by drawing you into the lives of Louisa and Will. I am not going to elaborate because it will very quickly become spoilery. Suffice it to say that it is very well written, it tackles a significantly poignant issue of the current era and it left me upset, disturbed and satisfied.

I definitely think it's not everyone's cup of tea and quite different to her others but the next two in the series are much more like her other books.

Gread read
This is the first book I have read from this author, I'll definitely look into more from him. The suspense the story as a whole is great. The twist and turns challenge the morals and ethics of the different characters involved. The ending shocked me, so much that I had to reread a few chapters. Great novel the suspense will have you hooked in the first few chapters. I couldn't put it down.

Usual chaotic comedy
As with a lot of these American comedies, it's brash, over the top and totally in your face, with a dollop of moral ethics. A mother, stretched to the limits, decides to let go of being perfect and do what she would rather do. She is judged as a result by other mothers, insecure with their own issues of attempting to reach perfection. It's a little silly, and I switched off engaging after a while.

The usual Hollywood C-rate comedy.
