BURN BABY BURN is the first novella in the Fairytales of the Myth series and there is no easing gently into this series. Oh no! Instead, we jump straight into the action with children fighting, followed by 'real' fighting, slaves, abuse, you name it.

Ella has put up with more than any person should, but her childhood enemy turned friend, Cadeyrn, got her through. When she feels he has betrayed her though, all bets are off and she turns to a pact with the Dark Fae, Daman.

I thoroughly enjoyed being with Ella in this novella. Seeing things from her perspective, and feeling her pain, it was a brilliant read. The only thing I wasn't sure of was the ending with Delentia. I couldn't quite get my head around what she actually wanted.

Nevertheless, this was a brilliant read that I have no hesitation in recommending.

Leads up to episode 9 well
This movie is not as good as the previous two Disney has released but still a very good movie. The fight scenes are very good. There are still alot of questions left for episode 9. It can get to comedic at times but it does lighten the mood for the longest movie in the series. Just like every Star Wars movie I will be seeing this one multiple times in the theater and the purchasing it when it is released on Blu Ray

Grim but essential reading, rather complex
For those who want to have a clearer understanding of the situation and the various factions in the Middle East, this is a good guide to making differentiations. While it is extremely dark and depressing, it is important to make distinctions between the insurgent groups - the most significant part you can take away from this book is that every group believes in something different and therefore are fighting more so with each other rather than 'the West'. Understanding the historical context is essential to grasping the current issue.

This was a super easy, quick, and heart happy read. The characters had chemistry that you could see on the pages and imagine off the pages. It gave a strong female lead a strong male lead to compliment her. They work together instead of fighting with each other. It was a definite move from the normal young adult rom-com read.
This is perfect if you need a quick happy read where everything isn't terrible for the main characters the entire book.

Thanks to the publisher for letting me read an early copy through Netgalley.

Simple but satisfying
A simple story of an alien invasion fought within a city block. The movie is funny & action packed. The aliens are scary, but cool. The acting is fine too. I like the different characters. The one thing that's a little hard to get over, is the heroes of the film are a gang of muggers & thugs. We get the "We are all fighting against the same enemy" trope, but when you think about it, they're still criminals. I still enjoyed the movie very much & would watch it again.

I wanted to like this.. but it was not good. I love big dumb action films, and I loved the 1st Pacific Rim, but Jesus, they can't keep making movies like this. The first Pacific Rim had heart, and it was interesting.
This film was not interesting. It was predictable, and kind of lame. It seemed to definitely be aimed more towards children. All of the best parts of the jaeger fighting were shown in the trailers. I'm so disappointed.
I feel so betrayed. Why TF did they make this movie without GDT?

I think I'm so bummed because it had so much potential, but then it was just like Transformers movie.

Arrow - Season 3
Arrow - Season 3
2014 | Drama
The third season expands Team Arrow further, with Laurel Lance taking over the mantle of her sister, street thug Roy and Oliver's annoying sister Thea joining the team separately. The season focuses on the attempt to bring Malcolm Merlyn to justice, and eventually Oliver is forced to challenge Rhas al Ghul in a fight to the death. This season started to get a bit hammier, more panto, with the villain being quite hard to take seriously. It made me long for the days of Deathstroke and a bit of decent fighting.

A darker version of The Craft
For me, this series was a little more mainstream, especially following on from the horrifying second series. It was a little bit of a dated construct - a coven of young witches doing young witch things. Luckily we had the higher level witches fighting against their voodoo counterparts and witch-finders to add some originality to that. There was also a good amount of humour injected through the character interactions and different types of magic.
A good solid series, but not as dark and gruesome as previous series.
