I really enjoyed this book,I have been meaning to read it for some time. I watched the film first which I sont usually do, but that inspired me to buy the book. I have given it eight stars because I enjoyed the story line and the development of the characters, even down to the school bullies. I love the character of Macon Ravenwood inasmuch as I loved Jeremy Irons playing the role in the film. My only criticism would he that it perhaps a bit too long and drawn out, especially as it is part of a series, I think 563 pages is a bit too long.

Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated the PlayStation 4 version of STAR WARS Battlefront II in Video Games

I got this from PlayStation Plus and I like it more than the first game. It's a few things that make me like it more:

1: It has a story mode that you don't need a PS Plus account to play.
2: You can upgrade individual player types instead of having to upgrade as a player to unlock improvements.

It has several new levels and player types and I'll admit I love to play this game though it annoys me at times when you roll out of the way and they still manage to shoot and kill you when they seem to be around a corner in the distance.

"I love a lot of Bernard Hermann’s work, but his soundtrack to Taxi Driver is really extraordinary. I actually watched the movie for the first time very recently, during the past year, and I was struck by how brilliant the music was. “The way that it changes from being something that’s so threatening and dark to being very melodic and lovely always surprises me, which I guess represents the protagonist’s mind. The idea of ugliness and beauty – and how it can shift very quickly, going back and forth – is another thing that I wanted to explore on the new record. I found this one to be very inspiring."

"Mean Streets — Robert De Niro is so gorgeous. Again, the beginning of all these people’s careers. What a full, well-rounded movie. Then you go to Goodfellas, it’s hard. [Picking five] really is hard. I also loved Wolf of Wall Street, I have to say. That was a fun movie. Matthew McConaughey, so good. I think [what I love about Mean Streets is] just seeing the world, seeing the costumes, the relationships these guys have with each other. I think also just the stories behind — knowing that these actors, this was so many of their first movie breakout performances; it’s unbelievable watching it and the performances are so great."
