Tough to master the flick
Kinda like curling and requires a deft touch
The goal of the game is to flick the puck into the hole. Which sounds easy but it’s not. There are little posts that block the way. Plus if the opponent has a puck on the board you have to hit it and bounce off it first. So there’s some very tough shots and strategic choices on placement if you can execute properly. This feels like billiards mixed with curling and shuffleboard. Each game tends to last only 5 or 10 minutes so it’s best to play best 2 of 3. Boards can be quite expensive for championship levels but you can get an imperfect board for quite cheap. Get out there and try it.

Stuggle To Survive
Wind Chill- is a good horror flick, that does have twist and turns all thoughout the flick. Its slow at first, but it does get intresting in the middle and end. Emily Blunt is really good in this film.
The plot: Just before their university campus goes quiet for the winter break, a young woman (Emily Blunt) asks a classmate (Ashton Holmes) for a lift home. The two students set off on their trip and begin to get to know each other. But, when a reckless motorist drives them off the road, they find themselves stranded in the snow on a remote highway. As the night grows colder, the two are confronted by a horde of menacing apparitions -- and struggle to escape with their lives.
Its a good movie.

Fun!
Plenty of excitement in this action thriller starring Dwayne Johnson. Not the absolute best action flick out there but has all the makings - good acting, great effects/cinematography and an intense storyline. Some predictable parts, but nothing that takes away from the fun that this movie turned out to be. A great one for the whole family. Really worth a watch!

Not bad for a dance film fitting in around the hip-hop scene. It has a good cast, some good dance scenes but not with any real wow factor. Unfortunately it becomes all a bit predictable and it's not as dramatic as I think they hoped for. It's no Save the last dance, but still not bad for a dance flick.

OH BABY! B-A-B-Y, Baby! What a killer and fun ride of a movie. After leaving the theater when it came out I surprisingly made it home without getting a ticket and I'm still bopping to the music in my head as I type this. You can put your hard earned, or robbed, money on that you'll enjoy this flick.

This movie had everything that made pirates of the Caribbean 1 a good movie. The acting was pretty good. The chemistry between The rock and Emily blunt was so good and believable. The combination of comedy and the action and the reveal of the immortals is what I think will cement this as a classic over time.

Surpisingly Good
Ever since he uttered the immortal line "We Are Sparta" as King Leonidas in the 2006 surprise hit 300, Gerard Butler has filled the screen with unadulterated machismo and virility. So I was expecting just more of the same when I went to check out the submarine flick HUNTER KILLER, figuring it was just a "B" action flick with Butler throwing up macho line after macho line and punching anyone who was in his way.
But...HUNTER KILLER is, surprisingly, much, much more.
Telling the story of a "Hunter Killer" submarine under a new captain that must go into enemy territory to check out the sinking of another American submarine, this adept action-thriller by South African Director Donovan Marsh is a pleasant surprise for only 1/2 of the film is about the action aboard the submarine, or the action back at HQ where a screaming Gary Oldman insists on less diplomacy and more aggressive action. The other part of the film is a very gripping, tense and exciting "behind enemy lines" war flick following the exploits of 4 Special Ops members (led by Toby Stephens) who must grab a person and then unite with the submarine.
Color me shocked by this. While Butler and Oldman gave me exactly what I wanted, the Special Ops soldiers, the stakes and the action sequences are a notch above your every day effort. If you are looking for a fun action flick, that can easily pass a few hours on a rainy and cold Saturday afternoon, you could do much, much worse than this one.
Letter Grade: B+
8 (out of 10) stars and you can take that to the Bank (ofMarquis)
