The force is strong
From the start you are drawn into the force where anger and fear are tested to its max. A battle of wits and brute force conflicting the knowledge of becoming a Jedi and becoming a part of the rebellion to save the universe has everyone at the edge.

I got to see the original Rosetta stone the other day. It's truly an amazing artifact that unlocked so much knowledge that might otherwise have been lost.

In that spirit, I'd love to hear from you: What is your favorite book/movie/TV show that has been translated from another language? (Dubbing and subtitles are both acceptable).

Mine are currently One Hundred Years of Solitude and Njáls saga.

Books are altogether another behemoth as most have been translated into other languages. Authors such as Albert Camus, Franz Kafka, Jean Paul Sartre, Dostoevsky, Gunther Grass, Han Kang, Rousseau, Christine de Pizan...it's endless ?

Goddess in the Stacks (553 KP) Sep 14, 2017 (Updated Sep 14, 2017)

The Hangman's Daughter series, by Oliver Pötzsch, is one of my favorite translations. Originally published in German, I believe. I read them a few years ago - the first one here: https://goddessinthestacks.wordpress.com/2013/10/21/the-hangmans-daughter-by-oliver-potzsch/
and the next three several months later: https://goddessinthestacks.wordpress.com/2014/01/17/book-review-the-dark-monk-the-beggar-king-and-the-poisoned-pilgrim/

Smooth Story Plot
This book was on my TBR list and I finally read it. I am glad I did. I enjoyed the mystery and suspense of the story. Though I can't picture some of the things described due to my lack of knowledge on the London layout, I find this to be a thrilling and exciting story and can't wait for book two

While the "Lost Journals" are not needed to read the "Inside Out" series, they definitely add more depth and knowledge to everything that is going on in the series. It expands on Rebecca's relationship with Mark, the world he lives in, and her feelings for him and this world that he wants her to be a part of. It is amazing and something I was not able to put down easily.

Expands the Potter universe
Not a great deal of action (0 more)
In some ways I preferred this to the first film. The story was more interesting and revealed a fair bit more info on certain characters from the Potter films. It's definitely darker in tone with a lot less humour than the first film. If you have knowledge of the other Harry Potter films you're more likely to enjoy it.
