At first it was hard to follow this book due to the writing style. As well as that it irked me a bit when the main character wasn't using the language customs of her time even thought she never traveled prior to that, it seemed like it blended in well to either time she was but it didn't seem that believable. After that bit i really loved the story as a whole. It was captivating and adventurous and im excited for another in this story.

A sombre and beautifully written outlook on a South Korean massacre
Once again Han Kang has written a haunting piece of literature very different from her award-winning debut novel The Vegetarian.

The intricate meshing of narratives of several stories across generations explains the disturbing effects of the Gwangju uprising - South Korea's Tiananmen Square massacre. There are elements of spirits attempting to reach friends and family members after being killed by government forces. The language is melancholic and beautiful, and entire story is an absolute tragedy.

Mrs. Maisel lives up to her Marvelous-ness
Mrs. Maisel, with her foul mouth and vivid wardrobe, is the only reason you need for putting the kids to bed early. The show is comedic enough to lift your spirits, yet poignant when portraying the realities that women faced in her era. Definitely makes me appreciate how far we have come in reaching gender equality, and yet how far we still have to go. I can't wait for season 2!

Helping Love Last.
Five Languages you probably don't realize are real. Talking in love languages is amazing. He does such a great job explaining them. How to learn to talk in the other persons love language as well as your own. It is helping me save my relationship with my boyfriend. It helped my parents learn to better show love to the other person. Well written.

20-something friends James and Skip are starting a moving company, but in their first load of stuff, they find a severed finger with their high school class ring on it. It took me a while to get into the book because there is more language and drinking than I normally like, but I was soon hooked by the characters and intriguing story.

An alright movie
To be honest I am not much of a movie person. That being said comedy really isn't my think but this one wasn't too bad. The language wasn't extremely rough, there were very few inappropriate jokes from what I can remember, and it wasn't even degrading to any specific group of people. It's been awhile since I've watched this but the entire tremors series is on that I don't mind watching (much to the delight of my husband who is a movie buff).
