A remake that people should watch
Dawn of the dead, was a good remake of the original film. Zack snyder makes his film debut in directing with this film and he did a good job. James gunn wrote the screenolay and he did a good job. Back in 2004 these two were new in hollywood, now look at them. I liked this film lot.

Admittedly I read this quite a few years ago but from what I can remember it was a wonderfully poignant story of grief and family. It's honest about the twists and turns grief will take you, good and bad, it's really a breath of fresh air. It clearly has a lot of heart in it, which as an avid reader and performer I really appreciate.

Gunslinger part 1
It is a lot of setting up the world and the characters' motivations and desires. Roland doesn't feel like he’s there in the world. I am looking forward to seeing where the story takes us in the next books. Excited to read on.

This book was a good first book to a series. It starts off quite slow and there are a lot of characters that get thrown at you all at once. The author seems to jump from one thought to another without completing the first one. It takes some getting used to. Overall not a bad book. The series is one i will continue reading.

Edge of your seat let down
I had to watch this movie twice to make sure I read not missing something. It has a lot of twists and turns but in the end you are left with questions. I hope there is a prequel and a sequel.....I feel it would take both to answer all my questions.
Ducklady (1174 KP) rated Daddy's Home 2 (2017) in Movies

Love all the actors in this movie and its a fairly funny movie in parts, but a lot of the comedy is drawn out. It's a movie that is easy to have on in the background while you are doing something else, but it didn't capture my attention fully. It was OK, worth a watch as a kinda rubbish but kinda funny Christmas movie.
Dean (6925 KP) rated Red Rock West (1993) in Movies

I always seem to mix this up with Blue Velvet for some reason?
A pretty decent thriller with a lot of well known faces. It's about a drifter making out to be a hitman, but things go from strange to worse when he finds out who the client is and and the real hitman shows up. Worth a look next time it comes on TV.

I'd like to thank Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I liked it but to be perfectly honest it meandered a bit and felt like I was reading two completely different books, what with the old-timey coin mystery.
I liked Amy's character a lot and the research bits were fun.

Good acting (2 more)
Amazing visuals
Mind boggling
Unique, loved it.
I absolutely loved this movie. The movie kept me engaged because I just couldn't figure out what was going on. I was left with so many questions by the end which I personally enjoyed since the mystery gave it a much more eerie reality.
Jewels (684 KP) rated Google Home Hub in Tech

So we are still playing around with this thing, but we already love it. We do everything from controlling lights and the nest thermostat, to using it like an intercom to call everyone to meals, and just looking things up and how to video's. Still have a lot to learn about this wonderful little hub, but it has made an excellent additions to our home.
