Kayla (19 KP) rated Until Harry in Books

I really liked the premise of this book, but the end felt rather rushed. I wish the author would have taken a bit more time on the most important part of the book- the talk. There was a lot of lead up to it and then it felt really drab and not realistic in how quick and easy it went. It was a good book, regardless.

A clever sci-fi
good dark sci fi film with the right amount of tension and some strange moments. Well worth a watch as its a cross between Event Horizon and Alien which in itself is a strange concept. A lot of Internationally talented actors make up the cast and as usual there is one character that steals what bit of humour there is.

It was a good book and I’m sure the sequel will be even better but I feel like there could have been more depth to it. I don’t know, I just think there was something missing. When it ended I felt it was a bit meh. I’ll read the next one because I dislike leaving it on a cliff hanger but I hope there’s a lot more to it.

Great Popcorn Movie
I've enjoyed this movie since I was a kid and I own a copy of it. I like watching it fairly often. It's campy, but fun with a lot of great one liners from Kurt Russell. The story is interesting and the fight scenes are entertaining. Sure, it looks a little dated, but it's still a great popcorn movie with the right mix of comedy and action.

Kate (355 KP) rated Nintendo Wii in Tech

Probably a bit a bit dated now as there are other game consoles out there with better graphics, such as the XBox. We did have one of these in the house for many years and it got a lot of use but found games were becoming hard to get and so progressed onto other games consoles. It has now been given away and has been given a second life.

Its almost as good as the first one, but it depends on what kind of story line you are looking for. I liked this one because this has more of a family friendly story line. It's about teaching kids to get along. It focuses on the kids and the legos as well. It's not a bad movie at all it's just a lot different than the first.

Seemingly no focus
I wanted to really like this book, but it was all too scattered. It was cool learning a bit about this lawyer that was a pseudo-detective, but the book was kind of all over the place. The most interesting part was the work over white slavery, I hadn't really read about a lot of that before. Overall, this was a meh.

This first draft of a beloved tale shows how things change. Peter S. Beagle is a great writer there will be a lot of similar things to the finished version, however, it takes a left turn quite early in the original draft. I recommend you read the instruction and preface and not just dive to the story.

I expect and deserve more than this regurgitated storyline
Don't fall for this trap
It's the same old thing. A dash of comedy. A lot of drug references. A shoot out of some sort. Really dumb characters. A large helping of stereotypes of a small margin of people of color. Why? We have so much more to offer. I'd love to see it on screen.
