Sydrian. I loved this book so much. There were so many moments where I just wanted to start bouncing up and down. I love how Sydney is finally coming into all of the 'issues' that she didn't want to deal with. The magic, her feelings towards Adrian, and dealing with the Alchemists. I can't wait to start the next one!

I received a copy of Shadow Frost from Blackstone Publishing in exchange for an honest review.

I'm a sucker for world building and this one was a thrill to read.

I loved the way magic was portrayed in this book but most importantly I adore the characters.

I really really hope there's going to be a sequel to this one, because that cliffhanger!

I am an avid fan of the Alfred Boy King series. This is the third book in the series, and I am excitedly waiting for book 4. This book is filled with adventure, magic, creatures, and bravery. The main character Alfred is a sweet and curious boy who makes for a charming and sympathetic character to follow on his exciting journeys.
