Awesome Read
One of the best books ive read in a long time. I could barely put it down.
The continuous 80s pop culture references blend in effortlessly with the future in this book. The story was truely engaging and the take on yechnology and human interaction is not unbelievable.

Wow! This novel deserves all the hype it gets. It's manages to be incredibly magical in such a sci-fi world, yet still remaining relatable. The characters are beautifully rounded and strong. The one downside is, if you have very little knowledge of 80's pop culture references, you may find yourself lost in this one.

This is a good album. It snuckup on me one day during a long drive, and I ended up listening to all of it.
While it does miss a certain WOW factor most of the songs are very good. The sound mostly blends current dance and pop music with a pop sound that reminds me a little more of 90s pop.
Some stand out tracks would be Recovery (which I can't stop listening to) and Top of the World, which is actually a bit off the beaten path when compared to the other songs on the album.
All in all it kept me listening.

1975 | Comedy

"I saw it when I was 13 and it had an amazing impact on me, I couldn’t believe something was so funny and so smart. The level of writing is so crazy; it’s a continual inspiration. It blew my mind. I was at home babysitting my younger siblings. My parents were out dancing, and it came on at 1:30 AM. I would watch Saturday Night Live, and it was on after. I thought it was a horror film to start because it’s dark and there’s the pop-pop-pop and there’s smog. In the movie, that’s their preamble thing that I missed, so I didn’t know it was a comedy."

In September there was everything from psychedelic dance-rock by the Horrors, to Latin pop from J Balvin, to glacial dub techno by Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe.

Iggy Pop is totally on a Tom Waits wavelength in his new collaboration album Loneliness Road. Some classics and new faces here in the world of jazz:

From the coolest member of the Rolling Stones to a punk icon trying on his Sinatra fedora to a former bartender who mixes sounds through her trumpet, jazz music is anything if not diverse.

RIP Stan the man Lee. You are a god. Think of what pop culture, the movies and fandom would be without you. You will be remembered forever!
