Still great story telling
To anyone that knows about this game will always hear its their top 10 game they've played and for good reasons the story is gripping for the get go.

Had a bit of itch to play this ever since the remake was announced and i dove right back into it and to this day it still holds up far be it the graphics are dated, look past this and you have a game that has hours of game play (over 12 hours if you play at a decent pace and don't go for everything the game has to offer. Even speed runners struggle to beat it under 9)

If you like turn based games or tried the later final Fantasy games I recommend giving this a go, this made games we play today tell great story telling.

The friendships, the movie was creepy and disturbing. The way Pennywise moved and spoke. Felt very Stranger Things inspired. (0 more)
Wasn't as scary as I thought it would have been. (0 more)
I didn't want it to end
I love Horror so I was really excited for this to come out. I didn'y really know what to expect as I haven't watched the original 'IT' yet, or read the book by Stephen King, but I knew the basics of what this movie was about.
I loved the way this film makes you feel and the style of it, it's not like all other horror movies out there. There is a bit of a Stranger Things vibe to it, which I loved.
I absolutely adored Pennywise in this remake, I loved the way he moved his body, it added to the creepyness of the film.
I found it more creepy and a bit disturbing than I did scary, there was one jump scare that got me though.

Same reimagined game with the same memorable levels, characters, and gameplay. (2 more)
Upgraded graphics really bring the game to life again.
Relive your childhood or step into the world of spyro for the first time. It really is an amazing remake.
The only thing I noticed was that it downloads the games separately but most people play them in order anyway so that shouldn't be a probl for those who are looking to jump right into things. (1 more)
The only other thing was that it said it was playable while it was still downloading. However, we completed the first entire world before the game had finished downloading the other playable worlds.
NOSTALGIC!!!

When the Tim Burton remake of the 1969 movie was released there was an uproar, essentially because they had changed the twist ending. True, the twist the Burton film came up with was awful, but there is an irony in that uproar. You see, that classic twist from the original movie is not the twist in this book! I'm not going to say what that twist is, but thankfully it is on a part with the one we all know and live.

I love this novel, and really wish more people were aware it existed. I wouldn't be surprised if some people avoided it believing it to be a novelization of the movie, but no, this was published six years before the original movie! I think this is a must read for any science fiction fan, and movie historian.

The whole movie feels hollow
More beast than beauty
After watching jon favreau's fantastic the jungle book I was hyped to see what disney did with their 2nd attempt at a live action remake of their animated library of classics. Unfortunately it's no where near as polished imo. There is some good performances though. Josh gad is hilarious as LeFou and contributes the majority of the comedy. However the lack of emotion in what's supposed to be an emotional romance is lost in this movie. The choice to use a cgi beast baffles me. And there is so many opportunities with a cast as strong as this but unfortunately Bill Condon fails to stir up the romance and emotion that the animation did in 1991. Emma Watson took me off guard me with her singing which was a pleasant surprise. Overall it was fairly entertaining however with the calibre of talent on show i kinda expecred more.

One of the classic TV alien invasion shows; the theme tune and the various visual gimmicks (aliens with crooked little fingers who incinerate when killed) are quite well-remembered, along with (possibly) the fact that many of the episodes aren't actually any good.

Larry Cohen's original concept - a paranoid thriller with few overt SF elements - was rapidly abandoned, and Cohen himself had little involvement. The programme is really a victim of the time it was made: episodic storytelling means that the aliens come up with bizarrely different schemes on a weekly basis (weather control, infiltrating industry, man-eating butterflies), and there are nagging problems with the format - it is required that the aliens never just kill Vincent, and that he never manages to get evidence of their activity, either. Some would say that Roy Thinnes' intensely dour performance is not exactly what a show like this needs.

Still, there are some good individual episodes, and the iconography of the show does hang around in your head (it's clearly one of the shows that was a major influence on The X Files). It's a shame this kind of story has since been done to death as you could easily imagine a contemporary Invaders remake being really good (even though the 90s mini-series really wasn't).
