This is a great story that throws a disaster of almost Lovecraftian proportions onto a small town. If the antagonists aren't terrifying enough, seeing the social ecosystems of the survivors form and shift will make me think twice about which supermarkets I go into and which I avoid.

Great actresses
Loved this, I really liked all the campaigning they did beforehand via social media. This really added to the mystery and luckily it didnt disappoint. I enjoyed the character development and found myself quite gripped.

Overall a grear film and would highly recommend.

Literally bringing small screen drama to the big screen, social media POV thriller “Searching” may be the most slyly political movie of 2018. FULL REVIEW: http://bit.ly/CraggusSearching

Idea before its time when people were not aware that Big Brother was watching you. There is a question at the end - does he meet the girl? Good Film and though provoking as it is being more and more real life now with all the social media around.

Great voice. Talented singer/songwriter. (0 more)
Title misleading
Social media presence does not match the music. Looks do not match the voice. Unexpected and unassuming brilliance. I hope he is a talent that is around for a long time. Listen and make your own opinions. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"In 1974, when I was at the Berlin International Film Festival with Little Malcolm, I met Fassbinder. He was then making Ali: Fear Eats the Soul, which I think is one of his best films. It’s a wonderful observation of social and racial prejudice, and of youth and age."

"I think Peter Sellers’ performance in that just really knocked me out — what you can do with character. I think Hal Ashby just embraced that naturalistic and really deep performance and took it to the next level, so it became this almost remarkable piece of surrealist social commentary."

"Two films that taught me about the complicated and highly delicate balance of tone that some movies must strike in order to succeed. Both films walk a razor’s edge between laugh-out-loud comedy and devastating social critique—and both are peerless in their total command of tone."
