Time isn't on my side
The acting could be way better but the story behind the movie is great. Everyone has a certian amt of time til they die and everything cost seconds, minutes even hours off thier life. The rich can keep on living with more and more while the poor have to earn every second. Time to watch the clock.

Cinderella remade
A fun loving movie about a very rich and successful businessman who gets a prostitute to be his girlfriend for a short wile while he is in town. The usual story to follow man finds girl, man falls in love with girl, girl not interested in way man is interested, girl leaves man and finally man gets the girl.

Pretty good
So I've seen the first Purge and enjoyed it enough to be interested in the second one. Turned out to be pretty good. The acting, cinematography and story were very well done. Interesting take on how the "rich" participate in the purge. Smh. Anyway, if you enjoyed the first Purge movie you'll enjoy this one. Worth a watch.

Nicole Hadley (380 KP) rated The Poor Little Rich Girl in Books
Jun 18, 2018
The Poor Little Rich Girl by Eleanor Gates is a wonderful story. The story has an older feel to it. I like Gwendolyn's seven year old ponderings to the confusing adult phrases thrown her way. Sometimes I felt sorry about Gwendolyn because of her loneliness.
This book made me realized how important it is to value your children while you have them. Children want and crave our time and attention, along with our love above all else.
I received this book from Dover Publications via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Jessica Erdas (463 KP) rated Where the Red Fern Grows in Books

My fascination with this book began with a required reading assignment. Since then, I have read this book over at least 5 different times. The story is rich and realistic, so easy to get lost in. There's a certain comfort in the sadness of the main character and in all that he does. Everyone and their mother should read this book at least once in their lifetime.

AT (1676 KP) rated The Wedding of Popeye & Olive in Books
Nov 25, 2018 (Updated Nov 25, 2018)
The Wedding of Popeye and Olive had all of the main characters in it, plus a rich ex of Olive's that wanted to steal her away. She was kidnapped, and Bluto tried to get her back at the same time as Popeye. The story was short, cute, and stayed true to the Popeye characters. However, the illustrations were more modernized. I wasn't a huge fan of that change.
