Why Rum Gone
Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) plays our beloved pirate to love and hate in this adaption of a Disney ride. The movie from the word go is filled with action, comedy and suspense as we follow our captain take possession of a powerful boat with the help of Orlando bloom and try to rescue our damsel in distress Nightly and recover the last gold coin of a lost treasure to try and break and long time curse. This movie storyline took time and patience to make sure everything flowed right and it does. To me there is not a moment of down time and my favorite line when marooned on an island is "Why Rum Gone" Enjoy

Actually creepy, had to switch on lights
It takes a lot to usually scare me, but I am rather impressed by Peter James' first venture into the spine-chilling horror genre. There were actual moments where I had to turn on lights and look over my shoulder.
There are several moments in particular that makes your heart leap as the suspense builds, one near the beginning with Jade and her friend on Facetime, two near Chapter 42 and the vicar, and three with a scene containing a sledgehammer.
And while I feel there is little resolve, not really understanding what happened to the male protagonist in the end, it's helpful to remember all classic horrors end with a sense of unease.

I started watching this show (on Starz in the US) because I like limited series. Limited series are awesome because they're kind of like long movies, long enough to know the characters, but without having to worry about show runners milking old story lines. The first episode of this series feels both fast and slow. You learn a lot, but it doesn't come screaming at you. The suspense builds the further in you get and the intrigue increases along with it. I think I enjoyed the characters and their development more than the actual overall plot. However, it was still a good story all in all. A good mystery/crime drama to satiate your needs.

I hope there is another one

I see from most of the reviews that this film wasn't favoured but in my opinion I love back and origin stories. Alien to resurrection were how the Xenomorph species expanded and developed. This film and it's predecessor explore where the deadliest creature in the universe came from. I do hope there is another to link up with the 1979 Alien film.
I know with Alien franchise it's all about the horror and suspense but a story and plotline is important too. I am glad Ridley Scott did get the opportunity to fill in the gaps unanswered in the preceding films.
Bring on the next one, me want more!

How do a group of students survive after being trapped in their high school after a huge blizzard that never seems to let up? The story line and characters of the book seemed to react appropriately to the situation at hand with different cliques and personalities. I only had a few issues with how they would react like having your teacher go out in the snow storm and he never returns but nobody seems to be very concerned that he's probably dead? I think the girl's especially would be freaking out about this. Other than that and what seemed to be a slightly rushed ending this is a great book for young adults giving them a mix of suspense and survival.

I did not enjoy the book as much as her other ones. I love Hahns ghost stories and those that deal with the paranormal (Look For Me By Moonlight). This novel was more thriller/suspense than her usual horror.
All always the people Hahn creates have such character and her story is flawless. That being said, it just was not my genre. There was no trace of the paranormal and fantasy in this book, and it left me wanting. It was also predictable. Hahn writes for a much younger generation, but yet, so all her novels are predictable.
I cannot give this book a low rating because there was genuinely nothing wrong with it. It simply was not my cup of tea.

Richard is missing..he doesn't know who he is, where he's from, anything..even if his name is Richard! He hires an investigator (Ryker) to 'find him' ..who tries all the usual googling etc but comes up with nothing until he goes to see a psychiatrist that's been 'helping' Richard ..then it all starts to twist and turn and people are turning up dead..and even Ryker is in danger as he keeps on uncovering more about who Richard is.
Definately worth a read..and as you get drawn further in you will want to speed read to find out the truth.

Oh my god!! If you haven't picked up this book yet, do it and read it as soon as you possibly can!!! The story line is awesome and intriguing. The characters keep you interested. And the suspense, holy crap, it is insane!!! I don't know how much I can say about this book other than you have to read it now. If you have read it, you know what I am talking about. One of my favorite parts about this book is that there is not a single annoying live triangle!!! Yay for that!!! If you like dystopian novels with lots of twists and turns, go on and read this book!! I can't wait for the next book to come out!!
