Can anyone recommend a good tablet/laptop please?

I'm looking at replacing my current MacBook and iPad as they're both getting a bit old, preferably with a device that works the same as both. I'll mainly be using it for web browsing, media storage and document creation. Plus it'd need to be compatible with other devices including an android phone and a kindle.


I've been eyeing up both the iPad Pro and the Surface Pro, but I'm struggling to decide between them, and there could be other alternatives out there in addition to these.


Any recommendations?
