I went to Elyeria to find answers and ended up with more questions.
It’s too late to turn back now, and all I can do is learn how to play the game and quickly to stay alive.
I’m a princess from one of the strongest bloodlines in history.
There’s a prophecy about me where I’m supposed to save the world, unite the supernaturals, and become their Empress, while destined to have six mates.
One of my mates can’t be trusted.
His ex wants me dead.
The Queen wants me dead.
The Council wants me dead.
Why did I come here in the first place?
Elyeria was supposed to keep me safe.
Turns out, I’m in more danger here than I was before.
Who can I trust when everyone’s eyes are trained on a Tainted Throne?
My name is Winter DelaCorte.
I am the Lost Heir of House Storm

Well this definitely starts with a bang haha quite literally!
I’m really enjoying watching Winters powers grow as well as her story. The men are just super hot but also developing well. It’s definitely a good series if you enjoy the dramas of a court vampire or Fae. A very good reverse harem!

A Spanish princess. Raised to be modest, obedient and devout. Destined to be an English Queen.

Six weeks from home across treacherous seas, everything is different: the language, the food, the weather. And for her there is no comfort in any of it. At sixteen-years-old, Catalina is alone among strangers.

She misses her mother. She mourns her lost brother.
She cannot trust even those assigned to her protection.

KATHERINE OF ARAGON. The first of Henry's Queens. Her story.

History tells us how she died. This captivating novel shows us how she lived.

It took me a bit longer than normal to finish this book I really enjoyed it but came away feel so sad for Katherine. I’m fascinated with this period of history and she is one queen who always hits the heart when I read her story. This is one of the best ones I’ve read so far and knowing Alison kept as close as possible to history made me even more sad. Something about the princesses of Wales they always get dealt a hard blow by the monarchy. Overall it was a beautifully written version of her. Looking forward to reading Anne’s next.

Fenn is a homeless drunk that has no job is wondering around trying to find his next meal when he stumbles on a farm and asks if they need any jobs doing that is when his life takes a strange turn of events.

The style this book has been written is very detailed and interesting. It is so poetic and beautiful in some places and in others its a bit cut to the core say how it is and no more. I suppose its like the 2 main characters Fenn and Morgrim have actually written it.

I loved the story of the relationship growing between Fenn and Morgrim it certainly isn't for the faint hearted. It's rather steamy when it comes to the sex scenes in my opinion. Not a lot of violence but there doesn't need to be.

I love the way that both the main characters learn from each other, fenn is prepared to learn and listen about magic and where it comes from, Worple horses and their history, Morgrim learns how to trust, feel and let somebody in also how to be himself which when you find that someone you have a connection with is fantastic

I would really like to read more of this style and will definitely recommend it for reading

LEVKASEON is a prequel novella to the Gen-Heirs: The Guardians of Sziveria series that gives an insight into the HRS and dust addictions that are rampant in this world. Tied in nicely with that is the relationship between Ciarra and Terran. They had a young love tested too soon by someone Ciarra thought she could trust. Not only that, but it turns out, they had much more to do with the current state of affairs than Ciarra would have dreamed possible.

Once again, there is a great mix of steamy romance and intrigue, paving the way for the story to unfold and draw you into it. The characters are fully dimensional, with their quirks and foibles.

This is definitely a series to read and enjoy, to lose yourself within the pages. I am loving how each story is individual whilst continuing with the general theme. I would love to see more of the characters where they are all in the same place, but that's just me.

A great addition to the series, and one absolutely recommended by me.

THE DRAGON'S FAKE MATE is the fourth book in the Bad Dragon's Bride series and features Starla, the bad-ass witch who looks after her girls, and Mars, her emotionless, psychopathic stalker. We've met both of these characters before and it's hard to say which one is scarier!

I loved how both of them had a story to tell, with both of them having a rough go of it and both coming out the other side. Okay, so they're both damaged too, but when they realise that together they make a whole, it was brilliant.

For me, this book is easily the best of the series. I have thoroughly enjoyed the previous books but this one blew them out of the water. The pacing is perfect and the story flows without any wasted words. The way the trust these two find in each other was shown was sheer perfection.

I'm really REALLY hoping Diesel gets his HEA though. He's one dragon who has stolen my heart!

All in all, the jewel in the crown (so far, for me) in this series and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by me.

This series just keeps on getting better and better. It is intricate, involved, unique from my perspective and absolutely gripping. The concept behind these books is a fantasy, some might say, but Erin Kellison has made it a reality within her stories. They are all incredibly well-written with a smooth story and no plot holes.

Delirium is mainly about Harlen's new job in the Darkside Division which will mean absolutely nothing to you unless you've read the previous books in this series. You NEED to read these in order for it to make sense and to gain the most enjoyment out of them. There is major intrigue in this as no one is who they appear to be and you can't trust anyone.

This is gripping stuff and it does come complete with a cliffhanger ending so fair warning. If you want a short read that is paranormal but not full of vampires or shifters, then I can highly recommend this to you. Start at book 1 and gain the maximum enjoyment out of this magnificent series.

What happens when your past catches up to you?

We found the Salvaged Lands and were welcomed into this secret sanctuary. Inside we find survivors, some comforts, and people who bring us more questions than answers.

With this new adventure, comes a new threat. We can no longer trust some of the new friends we've made.

The list of strange things going on is growing longer. My guys are developing more powers, and now I’m becoming afraid to touch them, in fear I may inadvertently turn them into rotters instead.

I don’t know the full potential of what I can do. I don’t know if I’m technically even human.

But what I do know, is:

1) There are more dangers in this world than I originally thought, and

2) If you don’t fight, you die.

I liked it but didn’t love it! The character building is really good. The story is developing well I’m enjoying this series and this one was slightly better than book 2. The powers and the small explanations we are getting is really well done. Besides all this I think it was lacking that spark. Mateo is starting to rile me a little but overall it’s a good book .
