Summary. Took me a bit longer to get into the second one as the first didn’t jump in to my memories as fast as the other books I read do! The first book was a bit underwhelming and a bit rushed. This one was so much better I love that Derek still has his dark side not like most vampires written. I had a feeling I knew who Sofia’s dad was but I didn’t see it coming about her mum! Certainly sets it up for an interesting 3rd book.
