I am a lover of all types of movies, particularly horror. I am enthusiastic about a lot of television, particularly British programming and things that have interesting story lines and excellent acting. I have one son who I am educating to be as eclectic in movie and music tastes as I am. I am a serious bookworm and read somewhere in the vicinity of 100 books a year. I appreciate all genres and love book recommendations.

To me, this movie is close to perfection. It has an amazing story, terrific acting, great music, and it is gorgeously made. And it has David Bowie, y'all! What more needs to be said?

This movie was a lot more fun than I expected. The cameos were delightful. Chris Hemsworth's character makes me giggle hysterically. I want to be Kate McKinnon. I loved the original, but this one was a fun reboot that paid homage to its roots but still managed to be it's own film.

It's amazing how a movie made so long ago can still enchant so thoroughly. I am still in awe every time it switches from black and white to color. It is just beautiful. The acting is great, the characters are excellent, the songs are fun, and I own a pair of ruby slippers at the age of 34 because of this masterpiece.
