We Named The Dog Indiana
The Call of The Wild- The movie has intresting CGI, which mean all of animals and the adventure is CGI and you can tell. Some of CGI is good, the other CGI is bad. But it is Harrison Ford with a dog so thats cool. Just wish the dog was named Indiana. Would of made this movie better, but Buck is cool.
The plot: Buck is a big-hearted dog whose blissful domestic life gets turned upside down when he is suddenly uprooted from his California home and transplanted to the exotic wilds of the Alaskan Yukon in the 1890s. As the newest rookie on a mail-delivery dog sled team, Buck experiences the adventure of a lifetime as he ultimately finds his true place in the world.
A unique adventure about a dog adventure and journey. Its fun, entertaining and overall a good adventure.

The storyline itself was good and the CGI, for the most part, was impressive. At times, however, the CGI was a bit over the top. It doesn't really end with any resolution and leaves it open for another movie, but it a continuation isn't made, it really feels as though it were dropped off in the middle of the story. Hopefully, they will continue and give the rest of the story.

Too much CGI man
Well the trailer looked OK and obviously the idea of a younger version of Will Smith's character trying to kill the original could have been interesting. The 1st half of the film is pretty good, some cool action scenes and the story was engaging. The 2nd half fell quite flat once they have a face to face.
The Cgi in some of the action scenes was too obvious, and looked sped up, which made it look a bit odd. Most of the SFX for the younger clone was quite good apart from some of the scenes towards the end. Where he looked more like a video game character. So overall just an average Action film, with a simple plot and some good action scenes. With some occasional poor cgi in places. I was hoping for a lot better.

CGI
Enjoyable, but unoriginal.

The film is described as an adventure to save the island from a volcano, but it soon turns into exactly the same as the first Jurassic World film: genetic engineering, made-up dinosaur out of control etc.
The cast is good, Chris Pratt is excellent as ever, but unfortunately he is the only redeeming feature.
The story, as mentioned, is dull and a repeat of the first Jurassic World, but another disappointment is the use of CGI. Somehow, 25 years after the original Jurassic Park, the dinosaurs have become less realistic, moving down from high quality animatronics to average quality CGI, taking away all the charm.

I really wanted to love this quasi prequel to Carpenter's masterpiece. I enjoyed it yo a degree but the mediocre cgi gore can't hold a candle to Carpenter's practical effects
