The film achieves a functioning mediocrity we perhaps might have thought beyond this franchise

Some of the images look nothing like the original painting. Occasionally, there are numbers missing and you have to look at the "answers" at the back to work out what colour you are meant to be using.
Loved it!
Stephanie Garber’s writing style is fantastic, it’s so magical and she describes every colour and smell perfectly. It really takes you into the world of Caraval. I absolutely loved this book and it’s by far my favourite read of 2018 so far!
Blazing Minds (92 KP) rated It (2017) in Movies

My Blazing Minds review : The first thing that came to my mind while watching IT is that the movie is beautifully shot, the set pieces are framed very well in the 2.35:1 ratio screen, the colour used throughout the movie is also nicely done, especially when we see the vibrancy of Pennywise’s red balloons, dark scenes are well lit and even the terror of the old abandoned, spooky, house is nicely done with a nicely subdued colour palette. The use of the lighting and shadows to put you in a sense of insecurity works like a charm to give you those, “is something about to happen” moments.

Graphic adaptation of on eof my favourite Discworld books, which is set eras before the 'main' Discworld stories themselves.
I have to be honest: I didn't even know there was this adapatation of the story until I came across it in a local bookstory: having read it, I think I prefer this over the only other graphical take on the stories I had encountered before ([b:The Discworld Graphic Novels: The Colour of Magic & The Light Fantastic|2728900|The Discworld Graphic Novels The Colour of Magic & The Light Fantastic|Terry Pratchett|https://d2arxad8u2l0g7.cloudfront.net/books/1348432296s/2728900.jpg|2754534]) in that the artwork seems more vibrant, more what I would imagine the characters to be like.

Generally, female superheroes are few and far in between. If I told you to name female superheroes you would struggle, and female superheroes of colour would be even more difficult, but what about a Muslim female superhero?
