Very creepy Pennywise (0 more)
Awesome remake of a horror classic
There isn't really anything bad to say about this film despite a lot of critisism of the CGI effects of Pennywise the dancing clown. I, however disagree and believe that this version was far more chilling than the first version. Pennywise was back on form with his creepy and outright terrifying behaviour. The plotline rarely strayed from the original script and the cast did well to keep you engrossed in the movie. I thoroughly enjoyed this film and was quite excited when I picked up the dvd yesterday.

Poor sequel
Not bad for a straight to DVD release but no where near as good as the first film. It's on a much lower budget and it shows. It does follow on from the first, so you'll need to see that if you haven't already. It has a recognizable cast with Kiele Sanchez (A Perfect Getaway) replacing Melissa George from the first film. It has a few good bloody moments but descends into being another hunt the Vampires film and that has been done much better before. Not awful but not up to the levels of the first.

No it won't win any Oscars, but this was a surprisingly very good all out action blockbuster! It never lets up, just one action scene after another and with the same amount of special effects as the last few Star Wars films!! The CGI on the whole is great, bit ropey in some scenes but the detail in the back grounds and vehicles is great. Plenty of special features on the DVD regarding the CGI too! A great enjoyable fun blockbuster film from the director of The Mummy films. Grab the popcorn, switch your brain off and enjoy!

Relatable
Easy to watch episodes
Always makes me laugh.
I recently started re-watching My Family on gold and loved it so much, I got the DVD box set. The humour is brilliantly written and executed and the casting is perfect. It is definitely a show that you should own so you can partake in laughing at Ben Harper's pessimistic but quietly relatable personality and relate to Susan Harper's frustration and love of being a wife and mother.

It helps me relax and cheer's me up instantly. I would recommend this to everyone.

The parts with Fred Savage were delightful. (2 more)
I was able to take my daughter to see it.
Not boring
Nice Surprise
I went into the movie "blind", never having seen neither Deadpool movie. I had only seen the previews for them. My daughter has wanted to see both and this provided the perfect opportunity for that to happen. For me I love the Princess Bride so I very much enjoyed the Fred Savage parts. Watching this just made me want to watch the unaltered movies.
I agree it could have been a direct to DVD release, but what fun would that be?

FUNKO POP! Altered Carbon Takeshi Kovacs (Wedge Sleeve) Review - FUNKO Pop! really do know how to appeal to Film and TV lovers. While not every character is available yet (where’s Jack Bauer?!), the franchises they do have and created are amazing. This Takeshi Kovacs is no exception, looking exceptionally cool with two guns in his hand. I don’t have many Pops because I have a massive DVD and Blu Ray collection and no where to store them but I do have my favourite Bonds and John McClane on a shelf. This will go nicely within that set. Thank you Smashbomb!

"I recently picked up Jean Vigo's dreamy 1934 story of a honeymoon couple heading to Paris on a barge. It's still startling and would have been way out on its own in 1934. Also included on the Artificial Eye DVD is his earlier short Zéro de conduite which was banned for years in France. An anarchic tale of kids taking over a boarding school. You can see how much Truffaut picked up from here and it was a direct influence on the 60s Lindsay Anderson film If. Vigo died young and L'Atalante was his only complete feature."

"I think this is a work of genius. It manages to be utterly hilarious, completely tender and touching, and biting and satirical at the same time. It actually taught me a lot about America. As I saw it shortly after I moved here, I realized that if these type of situations and characters were being parodied then they must actually exist. When the DVD came out, I bought it and I’m still reeling from the number “This Bulging River”. I think the only people I’ve ever geeked out about in an embarrassing way are the people responsible for this film."
