Writercutters: A Love Story is dark humor at it's best with a touch of romance. It took one view of this for me to fall in love with this flick as it takes on the matters of love, suicide, and what is beyond.

One of the funniest books I have ever read.
So fun, and a breeze to read. It always cheers me up when I am down.

"Another dark comedy that was not so much influential to me (because I saw it late) as it was—and is—magnificent. The humor was ahead of its time, and it’s now the ultimate rom-com. Like the Lucy of rom-coms."

Decent
This movie was better than expected. Not fast paced or high budget but had plenty of turns and just enough action. Some beautiful imagery in the three cinematography and the acting and story were well done. Some understated dark humor throughout. Definitely worth a watch.

Hilarious
Deadpool was rather unexpected to me. I had no spend much time reading any of the original comics but I do appreciate a decent superhero movie from time to time. I laughed nearly nonstop. The humor is rather dark and self deprecating but I enjoy that humor.

Never boring, either there are intense action scenes or they are cracking jokes. Absolutely worth a watch, it's close to perfect.

One of my favorite book series. Interesting characters and really good story. Sometimes the tone is dark, but there are great moments of humor in it too. There are also beautiful emotional moments as well which make you care about the characters a great deal. A very good read.

A friend of mine once vaguely mentioned these books as something I might like, but after reading your review, I think I'm going to have to actually read the series!

An interesting premise

A little too heavy for a comedy
Dark surreal dystopian comedies need more humor
Good, not quite as darkly funny as I expected, seemed more concerned with the politics and "rules of the universe" than entirely necessary which kind of messed with the pacing dragged the humor a little bit. Other people were having a hard time understanding the world as built, anyway, so it seems a bit of wasted effort.

An EXCELLENT movie for the series. A lot of action, a lot of depth, and just the smallest splash of humor to keep things from being too dark. Well Done! (0 more)
Not much negative here, honestly. A couple little plot points could have been better, but for the most part it excelled. (0 more)

Honestly, this movie blew me away. I was a little surprised by how dark a lot of the story was based solely on the trailer but really enjoyed it nonetheless. Filled with potent and childlike humor that doesnt detract from the storyline. I would recommend watching this (likely more than once).
