Barracuda (2017)
Barracuda (2017)
2017 | Drama, Music, Thriller
This narrative tension, not-so-subtly conveyed at one point by the prolonged imagery of an array of knives hanging on a kitchen wall, sustains your interest in Barracuda, even when the screenplay goes off the rails a bit in the shaky third act
Critic- Steve Davis
Original Score: 3 out of 5

Didn't much like the musical scenes but the suspense factor was really good. Both characters played excellent roles.

Something original
I remember seeing this at the cinema, what starts out as a simple plot does turn out to be more entertaining. I think the only problem I had was I worked out the twist quite early on, so it became quite predictable after that. Still an enjoyable film though and quite funny in places.

10.0 (1 Ratings)
It’s a compelling feature about love, life and friendship which can be compared to David France’s 2012 documentary How To Survive A Plague, about ACT UP in the United States.

To The Moon
To The Moon
2011 | Role-Playing
To the Moon's excellent storytelling never veers off course and is one of the best we've experienced this year. While the game may not offer much in terms of a challenge, or even gameplay, it does offer a rich and thought-provoking narrative
Critic- Sophia Tong
Original Score: 4 out of 5

Obduction
Obduction
2016 | Action/Adventure
It’s a game that doesn’t tell you a lot about what’s going on, with the exception of the two possible climaxes. It’s also a game that intentionally misleads you, and expects you to bang your head up against a wall until you figure out the solution
Critic- Elias Blondeau
Original Score: 9 out of 10

Super Rude Bear Resurrection
Super Rude Bear Resurrection
2017 | Action
It’s a stunner of a game, both visually and mechanically, and if you do indeed love the 2D platformer genre that pushes your reflexes and patience, Super Rude Bear Resurrection is the best out there. The levels are bursting with colour, complexity

Shapeshifter by Knuckle Puck
Shapeshifter by Knuckle Puck
2017 | Pop, Rock
Easy on the eye as they are on the ear. Where they might just triumph, however, is in changing the world. Because for anybody who is still interested in music for music’s sake, it’s unlikely that too many albums will top this in 2017.
Critic- Ryan Bird

Only The Brave (2017)
Only The Brave (2017)
2017 | Biography, Drama
Only The Brave isn’t exactly complicated, as far as dramas go, but it’s also not trying to be. It’s a straightforward celebration of these heroes’ lives, with a few meaningful revelations along the way, but nothing that will completely blow your mind
Critic- William Bibbiani
Original Score: 8.6 out of 10

Out Of Range by Gun Outfit
Out Of Range by Gun Outfit
2017 | Alternative, Pop, Rock
Out of Range is serene and difficult, trippy and literate, loosely countrified and footnote-ably dense and referential, a zone-out record with a library card. Not many albums simultaneously slow down your pulse rate and rev up your brain
