If you are after laughter, beautiful and incredibly stupid British reality show celebs, this show is great. People are trying to get laid as much as possible, shagging each other in the house and creating drama when their exes arrive. Very stupid show, but incredibly entertaining. 😝

Slow and Go that is the tempo
This new take on the Michael Crichton novel rings the HBO show to a better futuristic reality that the old movie. There's drama and romance and all the stuff you would expect in a western themes virtual world to go out and play in. Some twists and turns along the way. I enjoyed watching the first season but it had some slow spots.

A decent action film set at the end of the Iraq war. Three soldiers learn the location of some stolen Kuwaiti gold and plan to help themselves. On their mission they encounter the harsh reality of the current state of the country.
It has a fine cast and is well made, without feeling like a hollywood blockbuster. It has the right mix of action and drama, even a bit of humour too.

On the Air. Unaware.
"On the Air. Unaware".
Peter Weir's incredibly prescient satire drama (released, as it was, even pre Big Brother), in which Jim Carrey shows he can actually act, by putting in - for me - what is probably his best performance as Truman Burbank, the unwitting and unknowing star of a 24/7 reality TV show that is now in its 30th year and that is viewed by millions around the globe.
In effect, a bit of an update on the old Descartes 'how do we know what is real?' question: as far as Truman is concerned, this *is* reality, until a series of accidents and events leads him to start to question everything and everyone in his life, leading to the emotional finale (does he ever meet the girl again? What comes next for the world's most recognizable man?).

Kim Pook (101 KP) rated 50/50 (2011) in Movies

After suffering for a while with back pain and night sweats, 27 year old Adam goes to the doctors and discovers he has a rare form of cancer with only a 50% chance of survival. This is a story of how he tries to come to terms with his diagnosis. There's happiness, sadness and of course struggles. It shows the reality of how having cancer can affect not only you but those around you too, including the harsh reality of a loved one walking away because they can't handle it.
The movie was enjoyable for the most part, but I do think they should have just kept it as a drama only, rather than try to make it a comedy too. Joseph Gordon Levitt did a fantastic job, but I felt seth rogens scenes needed toning down, they were too full on for this kind of movie.

Arlie (10 KP) rated RuPaul's Drag Race in TV

Yas Queen!
I've enjoyed watching RuPaul's Drag Race since the first episode. Each season of Drag Race has added new challenges and even more drama to the show. Personally I'm not that happy with drama on competition shows but it's difficult not to have it when it comes to any type of performer. (Speaking as an A.S. and B.A. degree holder for theatre and costume design, there's always drama in theatre. lol) The language is the only thing about the show that I really dislike, but it's not a game changer for me but it might be for others.
My favorite episode of every season is always The Snatch Game, watching the Queens pull out their celebrity impersonations, there are always a few that should have listened better to Mama Ru. Then again that's every episode when she goes around to talk to them about what they are doing for that maxi challenge.
I highly recommend this show to people who enjoy reality t.v., competition shows, and of course Drag Queens.
