A pretty good film based on a Stephen King novel. It may be a bit slow for some, but overall it is an enjoyable film about a guy who reminisces about his best summer as a young boy. A good character story which in places has similarities with Stand by me and is quite a heartwarming film.

Impossible to read without envisioning Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie, who were perfectly cast in the roles of Jeeves and Wooster, respectively. PG Wodehouse's grasp of the English vocabularly is top-notch, as ever: his powers of description using only a few words are second to known and is equalled, in my opinion, only by Terry Pratchett.

Being a fan of horror and Ewan McGregor I was very interested. Bare in mind Stephen King only released the novel a few years back I was a but skeptical but it shines through. Pardon the pun. (0 more)
A bit on the long side and would of liked a bit more background on the flower lady and her community. (0 more)

Stephen Fry's straight re-telling of the various Greek Myths, in more-or-less chronological order (well, as much as they can be!), starting from the Titans and going right up to Midas, leaving (I assume) Jason and the Argonauts, or the siege of Troy for future instalments.

A bit like Neil Gaiman's Norse Mythology, in other words.
