All I can say after reading this is that I am glad that Stephen King mainly wrote psychological horror and thrillers instead of fantasy.

Moving story
A great and very original film based on a Stephen King story. Also directed by the same director as @The Shawshank Redemption (1994). Also set within a Prison as a guard tells his story of working on Death row and the inmates he came across.

Stephen King To The Life
I’m a fan of Stephen King, I also enjoyed the original IT film.

This film though I believe is closer to the book than the original. Doing it in two parts means so much more of the book can be included and it’s been done as dark as the book itself is.

I can’t wait for part two!

It took a little while for me to really get into this book mainly because it read more like a James Patterson book than it did a Stephen King. It was more towards the end of the book before it really felt like something Stephen King would write. This did not take away from the fact that it was still an amazing story.

I had never heard of this movie before but seing as it was stephen king i had to watch it. I wish i hadn't bothered though, i literally had no idea what was going on. The more I watched the more confused I was.
Come on stephen king, you can do better than this! Very disappointing.

"Stephen King taught me how to suck people in. As a child, I spent about 85 percent of my time with my nose buried in a book. I remember spending most nights huddled under the covers with my flashlight, reading Stephen King novels and short stories. When I was 9, each night I would read as many pages of The Stand as I could until Stephen King had scared me too much. Then I’d lock it inside my closet so the characters couldn’t get me. Honestly, I feel like I learned some of the best storytelling rules from his books."

Interesting short story. Of course, since it was written by Stephen King, it isn't straight forward and you need to think about it when finished
