I am a Jedi
My favourite of the original trilogy. So much going on, great battle scenes on Endor, space and Luke vs Darth Vader.

Story lost its aim and felt rushed
More effort and this could've been epic
While I wouldn't discourage anyone from reading this, it didn't live up to the fun its title suggested.

this one was so sweet and caring and loving and sad in ways. the dynamic between the characters was amazing... her son was awesome and so strong.. and their love was epic. i am so glad i got to review this one

The best epic ever written
I've read this book 8 times and it's over 2,400 pages. As long as this is, it's loads easier than The Iliad.

Book Favorite

"Meyer’s first book, American Rust, was a literary page-turner. His second, The Son, is an American epic. I read an advance copy and came away staggered by its power and depth. I haven’t read anything this good in a long, long time."

"The hero is so elusive. At the end you still don’t know whether Red is a person or a color. Announcements somehow contain opinion. I have never seen that done so well or so confidently. An epic poem. Plus very, very funny."
