Good premise...bad ending.
Contains spoilers, click to show
I really hate when the movie is good and entertaining and then they just RUIN the ending! That's what this movie did. The whole point that they are making is that this social media platform is taking over people's lives and not being as helpful as they were intended and need to be stopped. But in the end, she shows the world that the leaders of the company have secrets and then SHE becomes the leader...making the social media platform bigger and more intrusive.
In my opinion, it is almost more satirical in making a comparison to a modern day "big brother"

When I first used social media, I would only speak in quotes from this.
Alice is the greatest existential hero ever imagined.
It is available free online. You have no excuse not to read it.

Great actresses
Loved this, I really liked all the campaigning they did beforehand via social media. This really added to the mystery and luckily it didnt disappoint. I enjoyed the character development and found myself quite gripped.
Overall a grear film and would highly recommend.

Idea before its time when people were not aware that Big Brother was watching you. There is a question at the end - does he meet the girl? Good Film and though provoking as it is being more and more real life now with all the social media around.
Vicki Coyne (45 KP) rated Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent by Lewis Capaldi in Music

Title misleading
Social media presence does not match the music. Looks do not match the voice. Unexpected and unassuming brilliance. I hope he is a talent that is around for a long time. Listen and make your own opinions. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If you enjoy this review of Netflix documentary The Social Dilemma (2020), please remember to like, share and subscribe.
In format, it’s a curious mix of twee sitcom family wrestling with their addiction to social media interrupted by a seemingly endless parade of silicon valley Frankensteins who, having made their millions in stock options, queue up to deliver sincere but vaguely milquetoast mea culpas as their various monsters run amok.

A hysterical cautionary tale for people who would like nothing better than to control-alt-delete all social media, The Circle uses finger-wagging scare tactics to admonish app-addicted millennials to momentarily ditch Facebook..
