Most women that I know seem to deal with feelings of insecurity and inadequacy. In today’s world of advertising, social media we are in a culture that is fueled by makeover shows, celebrities, and advertising that tells us how to dress, how to look and how to live. Most of the average day to day women have been hurt by the lasting memories of mean girls, or by other events much more wounding to the soul, we can become accustomed by self-doubt that it becomes ingrained to our self-image and thinking.

The focus of this book is to retrain our thoughts and to take another look at who God has created and how much He loves us and because He loves us we can love ourselves.
Kayla Aimee has written a book that many women can relate to. As you read the book you feel like she has reached into your own life and pulled out hidden feelings that you may not even realize are there, until you think yes, I’ve been there and felt that too.
Kayla Aimee has written this book using her own transformation from the self-doubt and inadequacy using examples from her own day to day life. In this book, she opens the way for women to:
• Identify the deep-seated sources of our assumed inadequacy and replace them with steadfast truths of scriptural affirmation.
• Replace our need for approval with the enduring promise of acceptance.

• Uncover our purpose, unlock our potential, and celebrate the God-given gifts in our unique personality.
This book is for every woman who longs for belonging, they will journey through Kayla’s writing and the biblical promises.
What I enjoyed about this book is the fact that the writer is so easy to identify with. I found myself in many of the examples of her own life that she wrote about and that made it so much easier to understand that I am not the only one dealing with accepting myself and who I am.

Any woman dealing with insecurities of any type would really appreciate this book. It is written by a woman who has been there, written in a warm, friendly way that invites the reader in and makes them feel welcomed.
At the back of the book is a study guide, so that this book can be read and discussed as a group or individually.

Dorian has been dreaming of and hearing the song of the wolf who can only be his mate. Drawn to the mountains that are nestled in his friend Tobias’ lands, he has no choice but to go. There is, though, the small matter of Frostbite, a semi-legend slash horror story about a white wolf who has been killing alpha wolves. But Cyrus has been defending himself, and Dorian is, in his eyes, another threat. When Dorian is unaffected my Cyrus’ magic, he knows that Dorian is his mate. There is just the fact of whether he WANTS a mate, and whether Tobias will accept him into the pack, legends and all.

I came across book two of this series on social media, I forget which. THAT book was free, and this one was only 99p, (27/03/19) so I grabbed them both and I am so glad I did!

I thoroughly enjoyed this one!

It’s sufficiently different to make it interesting, with the alpha male wolves being able to have children with females, but only their FATED MATE can be male. Dorian was married to a human woman; they had a child who died. Cyrus never had any children, he didn’t to pass the horror of HIS childhood upon another.

Dorian KNOWS Cyrus is his mate, he can hear his sorrow and loneliness in his song. Cyrus, however, needs to come to Dorian. CYRUS needs to ask to join the pack. Tobias is, to be fair, quite a . . .laid back Alpha. Well, laid back til you cross his pack and put anyone in it in danger. He accepts Cyrus, and the other omegas take him under his wing. Cyrus had been without anyone for a long time. Now he has a MATE, and a PACK that has accepted him, and his story. And when Cyrus’ past comes to attack that family and pack, they all gather up, and show Cyrus just what that means.

We are introduced to the legend of Diablo, which is book two and we are given hints about Tobias, who is maybe not just wolf, but just WHAT, that remains to be seen!

First I’ve read of this author, I need more!

A thoroughly enjoyable, well worth the 99p I paid for it, read.

The Circle (2017)
The Circle (2017)
2017 | Drama, Mystery, Sci-Fi
This movie really shows us where we are headed with technology. It seems like privacy is going to end if we don't do something quick. Having a camera on everyone all the time without permission is such a hard choice to make. The majority of the time there is always a camera watching when we are not in our homes. It comes down to who and how the data is being used.

In this movie The Circle, it show what happens when a non-government company gets involved in make the choice to watch are every move. They make is seem like you have a choice to join them, which most people do. They feel like if they do not they are on the outside looking in and are looked down upon for not being part of the community. It is weird in our society that we care that much what people are doing all the time. I myself have a Facebook account but don't use it all to often. Now I do look at daily to see what other people are up to and see if I missed anything news worthy. But a lot of time it is just people complaining about their life to the masses. Every once in awhile I do see a cute animal video.

This company in this movie takes it one step farther. They want to follow your every move and know your health stats, who your talking to, if you voted or plan to and combining your life in to one program. As much as it seem like it would make your life easier, do you want one company knowing everything about you. I say no. Even the government in this movie was torn on whether or not to take down this company.

This was a well casted movie and a very good script, but I think the timeline of the movie could have been better and there could have been better character development. I would have like to have seen the story of Ty and where he fit in more. Mae's character could have had more plot with the take down of the company.

If you are freaked out at where we are headed with social media or even being watched all the time, you should totally watch this movie. It will probably change your mind about a few things. Enjoy the show.

I really liked this movie because it does show where we are going in society and social media, but it does teach us that even one person can make a difference to stop the machine and turn things around.

Hey Readers!
We all experience the same struggles as writers, and especially as bloggers. Not knowing what we are doing wrong when can't get followers- it's hard to get noticed! Especially in the beginning.
I read this book yesterday that is basically the months we have all spent gathering information on how to blog from the internet, all rolled into one book.
Amazing right! Too bad we didn't all find it earlier.
Although the first half of the book is teaching you how to physically start a blog (picking a domain, a hosting site and figuring out what you want to write about), there are still some amazing tips in here that help out even us who have been blogging for several months (or years)!
For instance,
 • Tips on how to make money (which I think we can all appreciate)
 • Tips on social media- how to take advantage globally!
 • Examples of what great blogs look like
 • What Google looks for with SEO
 • How to stay organized! (thank you for that one)
 • Staying motivated through all the mess we call life
 • And of course, how to get and keep followers
That last one is what we all really want, right? To BE READ. Not all of us are here for the money or to come off as know-it-alls about our subject. We all simply want to be influences on other thinking-minds and to be noticed by our peers. We keep typing away and hope that it makes a difference.
This book told me that it does, usually, make a difference.
There are 250 million blogs online, and a majority of them are abandoned after year 1. The trick is to keep moving forward because it takes time as all things do. What we are passionate about, we are definitely not the only ones, and grouping ourselves with like-minded people and their blogs can really make a difference in your view of your own purpose.
Sitting at the screen and not knowing what to write, or if people even care what you say, is just you in your own head. All the rich bloggers out there KNOW that you care, otherwise, they wouldn't be such awesome blogs, right? HELLO. EARTH TO BLOGGERS. You are here for a reason. Tell us about it, whatever it is.
And tell me, what do you struggle with the most? Also, read this book.

Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)
Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)

Home Run
Spiderman Far From Home while more like add on dlc to the far superior Homecoming is packed with enough breathtaking moments & genuinely touching character moments to make is a top notch Spidey road trip. I cant deny Im a sucker for anything Spiderman related so please take my review as possibly slightly bias. At first Far from home had me extremely worried as some of the writing is borderline awful, some acting felt extremely off & its strange offbeat comedy is thrown at us so thick & fast I was eeeessshing more than I was laughing. However about half an hour in something changed & all the things I hated started to come together & I really felt my self becoming really involved with it all. I think what the movie had actually managed to do was not only remind me of the 90s animated show but almost recreate its feel in live action form too. Full of exposition & plot twists I saw coming a mile off Far from home still managed to keep me invested in its characters & raise the stakes/tension constantly as the film went on. What started off as a silly predictable romp actually ended up being a thrilling adrenaline rush filled with pulse pounding busy action scenes that utilised slow motion & unique camera tracking brilliantly as well as a finally thats heartfelt & extremely touching. Themes of new love & the rush it brings as well as its beautiful awkwardness are so relatable & believable & its darker themes of how the worlds gullibility/naivety/social media can be used against us as a weapon are scarily current also. Jake gyllenhaal is literally of the chain as mysterio & I would go as far as saying brings THE best acting I've ever seen in any marvel film so far. Seriously his performance is next level especially when you compare how his character behaves in the first half of the film against in the second half going from quiet, bland, weak & emotionless to unstable, intelligent, overconfident & tactical with some intense/harrowing use of his powers too. One of the most comic like comic book superhero films we've had so far its dorky, full of awesome action, twists/turns & a kickass villain so sit back & take it for what it is pure enjoyment.

Can the man who once left Caroline behind now be trusted to rescue her? Caroline and Chad Gregory are happy on their island home at Painter Place. But an old vendetta against them puts Caroline in terrible danger. Her enemies are closing in, and the future of Painter Place is at stake. Her only hope of escape is a man known as the jaguar, a legendary international operative-and the ex-boyfriend who once leftCaroline behind. Even if he and a miracle can save her, Caroline will never be the same sheltered woman who has been groomed from childhood to inherit the island. Social Media post idea starters (see attached photos to share): Can the man who once left Caroline Painter behind now be trusted to rescue her? If Caroline's prayers to return to Painter Place are answered, can she adjust to the ordinary after a week of the extraordinary? (For reviewers who want to play up a missionary-minded point of view in the novel)In desperation, a wandering tribe in the Amazon tested the God of the Shining Woman who left her drawings as gifts for them in the darkness. The Jaguar lived his life as if it began only five years ago, with his first memories. He did not expect to live five more. But a dangerous mission stirs resurfacing memories and compromises his ability to rescue the only woman he ever loved-and left behind.

My Thoughts: This is the continuing saga of Painter Place, where there is no shortage of drama. In this episode we find Caroline abducted and taken into the jungle to escape the cartel. The thing is, it is her former boyfriend whom Caroline thought to be dead that is her rescuer. How will this affect her marriage? Will she ever get home to her family and children?

This is a fast-paced novel that will keep the reader on the edge until the very end. Pamela Poole writes her books that will make the reader think. Always full of valuable lessons for all of us to consider. I enjoyed meeting new characters and of course meeting up with some old ones. I do believe that the author was trying to convey how powerful our prayers can be; and enjoyed reading about the jaguar. I certainly look forward to her next book in the series.
