You can watch it 20 times (I have) and still find new gems of comedy genius (5 more)
The writing, quite unsurprisingly, is brutally intelligent
It manages to tickle your ribs at every opportunity
If you don't normally like Python, you can just remember bits of dialogue and sound like the master of wit in front of your friends.
Roger the shrubber, the Black Knight, coconuts, French insults and African Swallows. It's all in there!
Will distort your view of Arthurian legend forever

Unexpected, Explosive rollercoaster of a film
Contains spoilers, click to show
Mel Gibson is back to form behind the camera in this War film of epic proportions. Standard is similar to Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket, but the second act outdoes Kubrick's with its intensity and full on violence portraying war. And boy once it starts it does not stop until the end.
I've never been a huge War movie fan but I must say I will quite happily revisit this film again at some point

Suswatibasu (1703 KP) rated Parliament Ltd: A Journey to the Dark Heart of British Politics in Books

Unbelievable, explosive, mind blowing claims
There were times where I literally gasped, laughed, clapped and whinced listening to this.
Exposing the dark heart of politics where morality has been swept away with the brush of business, Martin Williams has done an epic job of proportions revealing how intertwined the British government is with lobbyists, expenses scandals, external business interests with many even relating to human rights abuses. I would definitely want to hear an updated version reflecting the current government in power.
Bravo to Williams - an extremely important read for this generation.

Creepy existential dystopian science fiction
The final twist to this epic dystopian science fiction actually made me physically gasp.
Ubik has so many layers, it may take several reads to understand all the different facets - either way it is fascinating, claustophic, terrifying and intriguing all at the same time. Is Ubik supposed to be a version of God? That is the question. While there are hundreds of loose ends, it is made to be discussed and debated until there are no words left.
I can see why it's still a classic originally published in 1969.

Not as good as the book
Ready player one was decent, but the book was so much better. If I keep writing, this will end up as a comparison of what the book was that the movie wasn't. I don't want to do that. It was good and enjoyable but you may feel its somewhat lacking. Possibly due to the epic storyline thats crammed into a 2 hour movie. Still i would recommend you see it. Just read the book after. ?

Again, The Rock brought it home...
Love any movies with a strong Male lead as long as they also have a strong female that makes them remember they have a soft side too. Seeing the lengths a father and husband would go to save his family despite any limitations was wonderful. Just enough action/drama ratio so ladies will enjoy and men will not get bored.

Epic Adventure Awaits!
My favorite movie of all time. I have seen this movie over a million times it seems. I can never get enough. The chemistry between Mandy Patinkin, Andre the Giant and Shawn Wallace is amazing. Billy Crystal is Miracle Max, adlibbing his way through the movie is total genius. Who wouldn't love an adorable blonde pirate played by Cary Elwes and Buttercup played by Robin Wright, in her first movie role. This is a not to be missed movie. Fun for all ages.
Sean Farrell (9 KP) rated And the Mountains Echoed in Books

This is an incredible book. It tells a sweeping epic that manages to be both about love and the history of modern day Afghanistan. Each chapter tells a different story, and yet everything is expertly connected into one overarching narrative. At times it is endearingly sweet and at others heart-wrenchingly sad. I had an incredibly difficult time putting this book down as I had to keep seeing where it would take me next and how it would all tie together. A remarkable achievement and a book I will always remember.

Loved this book. Expertly switches between being suspenseful, funny, moving, and downright scary. Packed with little inside references to other books that somehow only serve to make it feel more special, and I was highly amused by the little trick the author frequently used with chapter titles. The lead is highly likeable, the circumstances she is thrust to a perfect blend of frightening and awe-inspiring, and the villain is easily one of the most memorable in years. Anyone with even a passing interest in true works of horror should not miss this epic book.

My Quick Spit of Fortnite Battle Royale
Fortnite BR is a beautifully made game developed by Epic Games. It is an immersive multiplayer experience in which 100 players compete to be number one. Getting a victory royale is incredibly satisfying, and the satisfaction is intensified knowing that you had a choice to either take the game fast-paced or slow-paced.
The only downsides to the game are the continuous bugs that keep popping up, but don't let that stop you from playing one of the best games of all time!
