These women can act!
I wish I had read the book before I watched the series. I don't think it would have added to my enjoyment, but I just like to know what they left out. Anyway... even though there are other similar stories out there, I think this is one of the better ones. I never finished Divergent or Hunger Games, but this held my attention. Elizabeth Moss is excellent as the lead role. Stay tunes to for Season 2, it it also worth of an day on the sofa binge watching.

It the best of the new Bond movies
By far, my favorite of the modern Bond movies. Armed with a license to kill, Secret Agent James Bond sets out on his first mission as 007, and must defeat a private banker to terrorists in a high stakes game of poker at Casino Royale, Montenegro, but things are not what they seem.

One of my all time favorites, I need to watch it every Memorial Day Weekend (2 more)
The first scary movie I can remember wanting to watch over and over.
So many great quotes
DAA DA
I never get tired of watching this movie. You just need to hear the first four notes of the score and you know what was going to happen.

Mr. Darcy - need I say more? (1 more)
I am sure if there were a class on romance, this would be required watching / reading
Romance is not dead
This story makes me swoon and offers reassurance that romance is not dead. Even if you are not a fan of Jane Austen, this movie is beautiful. The scenery makes me ache to go to England and take in the countryside. The costumes are authentic and the score really adds to the music. But, above all, is the story of the Bennett Family. The Bennett's need to marry off their five girls and hopefully to wealthy men. Simple right? Not really. Mrs. Bennett and three of her daughters are.... embarrassing. They gossip, are loud and silly. Finally, there is good news on the horizon for the Bennett's, a new wealthy man has moved into the county.

It makes you laugh & feel good

A funny look at morning news, its personalities and what goes into the making of a morning show. Becky, the heroine, has been fired from Good Morning New Jersey. The only job she can get is a Daybreak, a national morning show where the ratings are so bad, they barely register anything at all. Becky, the hardest working producer in TV, goes to work. She fires and hires, finds romance. She recruits a famous news man (the third worst person in the world) to join the morning show. It is hilarious and touching - when they put the weather guy on the roller coaster, I almost spit out my drink. Watch it, its fun.

One the same day Poppy looses both her cell phone and her engagement ring... then she finds a phone laying about and adopts it as her own. The owner of the phone, Sam, is not happy when Poppy does not return the phone. He is even less thrilled when Poppy starts reading his messages and offering her advice on his personal life. Sam, in turn, points out that maybe Poppy's fiance is not the best match for her. Sam and Poppy end up invested in each other's lives, but will either of them admit how each feels about the other? The scene in the woods had so much tension, I needed three cold showers....

Books&Football (34 KP) rated Three Blind Dates in Books
Jan 23, 2018
Extremely Funny with an HEA
Noely Clark is a single, attractive host of Good Morning Malibu. She agrees to be set up with a blind date at a restaurant called "Going in Blind". Noely ends up going on three blind dates and its set up with a suit, a rebel and a jock. The dates are real and her interactions with the men are hilarious. The book has a tie in to the movie "You've Got Mail" which add a nice touch to the story. In the end, she can only choose one of the three men - who will she choose? If you like contemporary romance, this is a book that should not be missed.
